A sturdy, clear, plastic box with a secure hinged lid, containing 1500 brightly coloured wooden beads. The box has seven compartments.
The beads are round in shape, with a diameter of 4 mm, and have been lightly varnished to give a subtle sheen. They come in a mix of 12 colours: natural, black, deep purple, dusty pink, grass green, lilac, red, rich brown, royal blue, sunny yellow, tangerine orange and white.
Threading holes have a diameter of approximately 1 mm.
